Self-Advocacy Training for High School Students with Disabilities: A Literature Review

This is a very brief overview on how students with disabilities can become self- advocates for themselves. Self-advocacy is a term that is often linked to other related concepts such as self-determination, selfesteem, empowerment, and consumerism. Self-advocacy is a important skill for persons with disabilities to obtain, in order to be successful later on in life.
